The dress codes for CDI have been
developed for the personal health and safety of the student in
mind.. It is our objective to create for our student a safe and
healthy environment in which to learn.
The dress code for class and car may differ according to the different
environment. We will start from head to foot as to the type of
dress that will be allowed.
Hats and Hair:
- Hats will be worn in the way they were designed to be worn
(visor forward) and out of the eyes.
- Hair will be pulled back and away from the face so not to
interfere with the student's side vision. This may be done in
several ways chosen by the student as to their comfort zone.
Upper Body:
- Upper body dress will cover the upper torso from the
shoulders to the hips so as not to allow sweat from the body to collect
on the back of the seat.
- No oversize clothing will be allowed as this creates a
hazard with movement of the torso.
- No long dangling necklace jewelry worn around the
neck. This means any jewelry that may interfere with the arms or
hands that may become tangled.
Pants, Skirts and Shorts:
- Pants will be worn up and in place around the hips and
waist.
- No pants that are oversize, that may cause any difficulty
with movement, will be allowed. (This will be left to the
discretion of the Instructor.)
- If you choose to wear a skirt depending on the length, some
type of hosiery must be worn under it to protect the seat.
- Shorts shall be knee length.
Foot Wear:
- Proper foot wear will be required.
- Shoes and sneakers will be laced and tied.
- No sandals or flip-flops will be allowed.
- No open heeled shoe.
Please remember at CDI your safety and your leaning environment is one
of our main goals, this is why we have developed a dress code to
protect you and your fellow students.
